IRS Relief

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
In 2009-**** I contacted Blue Tax about the back taxes I owed the IRS. They took my case and I gave them 3500.00 .The only thing they did for me is got me set up on a monthly payment plan. I found out later on that I could have gone through IRS and got the payment plan set up and a save 3500.00. Another thing they said they would do is get the pentlies taken away. I filled out proper forms, faxed them in to Blue Tax. I kept calling them about these forms, I received one call back, the person spoke with said they received it and would process it immeditialy. I tried for a month calling, emailing, and no response. I paid the taxes off with pentlies, and interest. If I had knew then what I know now I would have never messed with them.I would not reccomend them to anyone. They are a rip off. If there was anyway to get my 3500.00 back I would try,but I know that's impossible. "BIG RIP OFF" Signed Johnny R. Miller USA, Retired

FRAUD!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
We paid them (in full) to represent us for three years of back taxes we owed. After completing payments as directed, we found out by the state we still owe for two of the years which were to be included. You never are able to speak to an attorney or supervisor, only speaking to a young twenty-something answering phones.

I had an amazing experience with Blue Tax. I owed $2000.00 to the state and Blue Tax and their wonderful employees helped me through it all, though I must say their customer service is a little hard to negotiate with and they have issues when it comes to returning calls and messages.

Blue Tax Fraud

Hired them to help me get rid of a debt to the IRS as Promised, After paying them 2000.00 dollars the debt was not removed instead after several so called months of work and not hearing from them, I filled a complaint with the BBB, They refused to give me my money back or even work on my taxes until i retracted my statement, then after a few more months of me on them they got it set for me to make payments on what i owe, Still paying penalties. I could have done that!!!!!!!!!! Blue Tax is a rip off and once they get your Money they disappear and you have to chase them down. I still have every single email correspondence with them

BLUE TAX RIP OFF EXPERTS, NOT TAX EXPERTS

In 2011 we were audited and ended up owing thousands to 2 states and the IRS because they dissallowed our business and travel expenses. Then they went back and did the same for several years. We contacted BlueTax for help and they took our money, and kept taking it without accomplishing a thing, for over two years. We are paying face value for all of the tax debt tax authorities decided we owed, and we had a lien placed on our property even though Bluetax advertises that they will stop that from happening. When I called the tax agency, they said they hadn't heard from Bluetax in months and that is why they levied our property. We have since paid off our state debt, face value, no thanks to Bluetax and the lien has been satisfied but will remain on our credit reports for 7 years. We are currently paying a monthly payment to the IRS for 72 months and we are on the *** of retirement. When we became very frustrated, they would have, what I can only call, "handlers", call us to reassure us that they were doing their job and that they had our back. Then all promises from the "handler" never appeared and no contact, other than excuses. They basically said we had too much disposable income to negotiate any kind of compromise on our debt. When I notified them that our income dropped by 2/3s, all of sudden we weren't their client and they couldn't help us because the POA had expired. This was a few months after a handler had called and explained that they needed another 2K to finish the case because it was taking so long (not due to us-he didn't know why). After we paid another 2K to finish the case they did absolutley nothing! I mean literally nothing. When I asked for our money back there was a total lapse of contact. This company is a joke, rip-off and as disreputable as they come, preying on people who are already, in all likelyhood being ripped-off by the Tax authorities! I am thoroughly disgusted with Bluetax, and myself for ever believing a word they said. We paid them over 8K that could have gone towards paying off our alleged tax debt. Run from these guys! I have seen a mix of reviews positive and negative and can only say my experience was nothing short off a scam and rip-off with Bluetax. Just run, I wouldn't chance it, they are disreputable and unreliable at best.

Rip Off Watch your money

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
My mom had a tax issue they told they could resolve it. the cost was $7000 up front we payed it. We then filled out all of the paperwork requested and waited. for two months we would call them and no one knew what was going on with my mom's case. Finally she got a letter from the IRS saying they were going to garnish her wages. We called and they still did not know what was going on. We ended up having to get power of attorney back and fix it ourselves. We read the contract and it states basically they don't have to do a single thing right and she has no way to get her money back. They ripped off a 67 year old lady on a fix income.

sounds about right. they don't know what their doing and much less know how to stop ripping innocent people off.

I will say this though...I will never refer this so called company. what goes around will surely come around. they need to be shut down. they kept switching people to handle our case and then when I left my first bad review,oh they called me back with quickeness.

(too late). thank God I found a smarter lady who knows what she's doing and didn't charge upfront or an arm and leg.

Blue tax service is poor

in 2011 I used Blue tax to help me with two unfiled returns, and they were AWESOME!!! Went smoother than butter! I used them in 2014 thinking the same...WRONG! Their prices doubled, $650.00 for one return! Then they were extremely rude, this one lady for instance started refusing to answer my emails and phone calls. Then they went past the April 15th deadline for which they sent an extension, btw I had proof and correct the final return which screwed up and owed money. Then I get an irs bill for rejected extension/late return! Blue Tax has blown any chance of needing my money again!

Screwed by Blue Tax

I withdrew my annuity in 2011. My union construction job had been nonexistent for 2 year prior to my withdrawal. After filling taxes for 2011 I owed 10's of thousands of dollars. I looked for a way to try to keep the money I worked 25 years to accumulate. I saw an ad for Blue Tax and after seeing their A- rating in the BBB I thought they would be a reputable company to help. They were not. In May 2012 I talked to Blue Tax and after all my questions they assured me that once hired the IRS would not be able to add late charges or fees. Long story short after two years of sending them all my banking statements for all my accounts, tax forms, balances ect. (I have a folder 3 inches thick with paper work which is mostly faxes sent to them of my account status)They now tell me (March of 2014) that I was denied back in September of 2013 and would have to pay the total balance due. Plus two years of interest. Looking back at my records they called me in October 2012 and told me that because of the accumulating interest I owed them more money for the higher total of debt to the IRS or I could pay down the debt to the IRS. $2100 to Blue Tax or over $6000 to the IRS. I asked him why is interest being added to the debt, I was told from the beginning that, that would not be the case. He told me that they would never say that. Even with the bad feeling I was getting I sent another $2100 to them. Trying to call them was a constant battle. Now they constantly change the person assigned to my case. Three times in the last 3 weeks. They do not return phone calls when they say they will. When I last spoke with someone they said they would set up a payment schedule for me. The person before that said we can get a deduction of $10000 for you. Never could get him on the phone again. He's not at his desk or he will be in later. SO AFTER 2 YEARS THEY NOT ONLY TOOK MY MONEY (TWICE) THEY HELPED INCREAESE MY DEBT. I FAR AS I KNOW THEY NEVER EVEN SPOKE TO THE IRS ON MY BEHALF. AS FAR AS I KNOW THEY ARE THE IRS. This does bod well for the BBB in my eyes either. Maybe if your check is big enough your company can get an A- rating too!

Blue Tax asking for more money

Comments Sort by: Date | Rating 6 mins ago by Cheesy Bob 0 Votes I no sooner paid my 2nd installment of $3, 500 when I received an "urgent issue" email from Joe Gallo - compliance manager. He states California Franchise Tax Board had notified him that I now owe over $40, 000 instead of $14, 348. He had the balls to email me another contract asking for an additional $3, 000. I refused but did ask him to forward formal documentation from CFTB. He was unable to do so. I am now dealing with a Todd Lewis VP and refunds manager at Blue Tax. He wants me to call him to negotiate a refund. I refuse. He alleged that if I notify BBB and Attorney General's Office in Los Angeles I will no receive a refund at all. Complaints were filed today to both offices . 9th of Aug, 2012 by AnMelch7 0 Votes

Blue Tax Is a Fraud

I called Blue Tax to help me with my IRS problems because they were in good standing with the Better Business Bureau and I honestly didn't think I would have any trouble. Man was I wrong! After telling me they'd settle with the IRS for half of what I owed them they asked gave me a fee and I paid it, and then I waited, and waited, and....nothing ever happened! The IRS moved forward with their collections and it was as if I hadn't hired anyone at all! When I demanded my money back, I was told to go f myself more or less. Once Blue Tax had my money they were done with me and did nothing to help me out of my dire financial situation-they did the opposite by actually making everything worse.

I no sooner paid my 2nd installment of 1.8k and then the compliance manager says I owe another 3k as Calif Tax Board states I owed 40k instead of 14k. I asked for documentation on this and they could not provide it. I canceled my contract with them

Blue Tax Scam & fraud don't even pay their own taxes

Don't fall prey to the new company brought to you by the wonderful Todd Lewis and Justin Urbas [Of the quickly declining Blue Tax scam] You'll notice the similar childish animated poorly designed website FireFinancial.com that immediately reminds you of bluetax.com They're not even trying to hide the relation, if you look at public WHOIS records of firefinancial, it's registered to Blue Tax VP Todd Lewis, and blue tax mailing address: Registry Registrant ID: Registrant Name: Todd Lewis Registrant Organization: Registrant Street: 8236 Remmet Ave. Registrant City: Canoga Park Registrant State/Province: California Registrant Postal Code: 91304 Registrant Country: United States Registrant Phone: 310339**** In case you didn't know, Todd Lewis is the malicious, degrading, demeaning vp of Blue Tax that will tell you that you are going to ***, or must prey on little animals. He'll promise you the world on the phone, or if he does agree to a refund check, it will bounce, because Blue Tax doesn't have any new money. That's why their starting "Fire Financial" out of the same office. You'll see the domain is only 2 months old, so any claims of 'prior customers' or 'prior performance' are complete FRAUD. If you want a little more backgrond on the owner of blue tax, that would be Justin & angelica Urbas, aka David Justin Urbas. Look him up on http://losangeles.netronline.com/la-index.php , you'll see he has a nice track record of starting a company, defrauding the CA EDD [ca employment tax], and the IRS. It leaves his employees high and dry when they file their tax returns or file for unemployment, because according to the state, justin never sends any records to them. Youll see he has tax liens against him by the state, by the IRS, under both Blue Tax, and XTS global, his prior companies. He's now had to resort to using his poor wife's name [angelica urbas] to try to escape the public's eye. His wife is now listed as the president of blue tax consulting corp [http://www.corporationwiki.com/California/Los-Angeles/angelica-urbas/10777****.aspx ] Think twice before putitng your financial and family's future in the hands of the Lewis and Urbas family who scam for a living, with no remorse.

They basically took a few Thousand to basically become a debt collector. Because of their unethical way they negotiated by claims to release my wage garnishment, I was fired from my job. After complaining to them about what they have done to me, they started sounding like bill collectors demanding for me to hold up the end of my bargain and pay the full amount to the State of California. This ended when they send me a letter stating they dropped me after they could not get a hold of me. WHAT?! They are impossible to get a hold of as they have non-legal professional operators who run you around and NEVER give you any updates on you case at all.

Let's get our stories together. I can't link the website but if you google "blue tax fraud" I seem to be the third on the list. There we can share our stories and when I get enough then I will seek out a lawyer and post the lawyers number for a class action suit.

Hello,

We're a victim of Blue tax fraud $3,700.00 fees and when i called yesterday after 3 yrs of run around, blue tax want more money of $2,100.00...Their strategy is to charge a fee and argue we signed a contract that filing is not included and a fee of $2,100.00 should be paid...Ain't *** to charge $3,700 and tell me that it's for tax resolution. Other tax resolution company i talked yesterday said it won't work that way, first is compliance and next step is tax resolutions or filing of state income tax,now i know why after 3 yrs nothing happened cos they want more MONEY!!!

PLEASE START A CLASS ACTION SUIT, I WILL JOIN..I TOLD THAT PAUL OF BLUE TAX, GOOGLE KORENBERG, ABRAUWITZ AND FELDUN LAW FIRM IN CA AND EMPLOYMASTERS INTERNATIONAL, MR AND MRS ARNEL DIZON, THEY IN JAIL COS OF VISA FRAUD, THEIR CHARGE WAS $5,500....$2,500 GOES TO THE ATTORNEY AND $ 3,000 TO EMPLOYMASTERS...Mr. Paul told me i can't complain, i said this is America, anything can be done. Yes the other peson saying here is right, how can an AD with cartoon sound reliable?

Now i feel *** for believing Blue tax ad on t.v. that has cartoons only..PLs pls start a class action suit...email me at cm1545@***.com Thanks

How can a cartoon character negotiate with anyone. Only an *** would pay to have a cartoon to negotiate. U cant sue a cartoon..can u see taking max to court.

These guys sound like American Tax Releif. They took me for for $25,000 stay away from companies like this.

We have a tax problem and my wife was calling around trying to get information on how to proceed. When she called Blue Tax she talked with one of the rudest, foulest characters she has encountered.

I suppose that he was a lawyer. He proceeded to lecture her and demand to know why we got into this position and then started demanding all kinds of information that she didn't have.

When my wife had had enough of his badgering and she tried to politely end the call he yelled at her that she "was a waste of time". I'm surprized that this company gets any business at all.

They are super abusive Todd Lewis is worst he took 15,000 from me!

Guest

These people wasted my time and robbed me of $1,250.00. Thankfully i set them up for the second installment six weeks away and dumped them before another $1,250.oo was wasted.

They inundate you with paperwork and deadlines and then decide their's not much they can do but that's After paying them in full.

They couldn't even get the state garnishment lifted which is Tax Law 101. Don't waste your time with this company

Guest

Art M. how can you say it looks like "good feedback"? IF the complainant had been fired from his job because of an alleged 'unethical' action, he should have identified what that action was; who did it, and who canned him from hs company, so it could be verified by third parties to the extent possible. I am always leery of anonymous complaints with so few details, that nothing can be confirmed. IRS itself has recourse to complainants via the Treasury Inspector General for tax Administration (TIGTA), and the Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR). On top of that, the BBB has limited value as an intermediary as well.

Sometimes people simply cannot be helped, when the circumstances they initially report, turn out to be 'different' later on. Sometimes a delay occurs on the IRs side. They are not the most timely or responsive organization in Government.

I had a reason for checking this company's background. Finding only unsupported, vague allegations directly above other competitors linked ads, raises more questions in my mind, than the purported complaints do.

Your post was NOT at all helpful to me.

Guest

Looks like good feedback. Blue Tax almost sounds like the Credit Card Relief companies that are basically collection agencies for the CC companies.
